Find of the day: Panamas

Try to order a cookie at Roman artisan market and bakery Campagnia Del Pane, and the server will likely suggest you get the Panama instead. While you may be wary that she’s just trying to con you into buying something before the batch goes stale, she’s doing you a great favor. The chocolate cookie is filled with Nutella and caramel, sprinkled with sea salt, and looked delicious enough to coax me into eating it before dinner. Add the store’s charming collection of tarts, pastries and wines and it’s definitely an after-dinner dessert stop worth making.
